As a volunteer for the 2022 primary election I received a disturbing call that a Bessemer Cutoff voter receive an unsolicited absentee ballot. The voter appeared to be apprehensive realizing they possessed an illegal ballot. The voter was anxious that this maladministration incident could dilute the actual vote. In an effort to prevent a less honest person from violating the sanctity of the vote, the Voter’s concerns were reported to probate. Without answers and no conclusions as to why an unsolicited ballot was mailed to a citizen, I have chosen to understand WHY?
